This was a treasure that fell from space about 15,000 years ago and broke up on its decent to earth. What was it that fell from the sky? It was a rare type of iron meteorite that can be very valuable depending on the size of your find.

The Gold Basin meteorite strewn field is the only strewn field of this age known to exit outside of Antarctica. Over 3,000 meteorites have been found in the area and it is expected that up to 10,000 more may be waiting to be discovered. The exact size of the strewn field has still not been determined to this day.

You will need to have your own vehicle for this treasure hunt, the guides will not give you a ride out to the location. This is because they often have their own vehicles packed full of equipment.
